Lucasfilm Announces LEGO Star Wars The Padawan Menace mini movie!
The new lego mini movie we reported on several months ago, gets more info and screen shots! Dammit we need a Lego full on movie!
After the runaway success of their wildly popular building sets, video game collaborations and animated shorts, The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm will join forces once again for an all-new adventure – their first-ever original television special. Premiering on Cartoon Network on Friday, July 22 at 7:00 p.m. (ET, PT) in high-definition computer animation, the 30-minute original standalone special – LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace – will feature the charm, action and irreverent humor that have become the signature style of LEGO Star Wars animation collaborations.The story revolves around a routine Jedi Academy field trip which is turned into a rip-roaring comic adventure in LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace. Tour guide Master Yoda leads a group of rambunctious Jedi younglings through Senate chambers when he senses a disturbance in the Force. Summoned to help save the Republic, he discovers that one of the younglings secretly boarded his ship…and has a taste for adventure! Meanwhile, C-3PO and R2-D2 are put in charge of the boisterous group and find themselves in over their heads. As the evil Sith prepare to wreak havoc, it’s up to Yoda and the droids to ensure that their young charges aren’t torn to bricks!
One Pretty Big Executor...LEGO Star Wars SUPER Star Destroyer
Ok were a day behind on this but, we were hoping Lego would have a much more Hi-res image. Sadly not, as they have in fact decided to pull it from their site even though half the world now knows. Sigh.
Still what we do know is this is set 10221 and when it's called 'Super Star Destroyer' The mean 'Super'! In fact this is 'The Executor' along with a mini star destroyer, and some previously released figures however, a new Dengar.
Part of the Ultimate Collector series (a 'la the Shuttle Tyderium etc) this is gonna be one expensive set, even just to get that Dengar mini fig!.

New Lego Star Wars III Clone Wars Trailer, and nearly every other one besides...
A new trailer hits the tubes for this game today but sadly only at (god knows why man) EW.com of all places. 'Cos thats where Star Wars and Lego fans y'know want to hang out all day? Wait and see it'll only get ripped and be on YouTube in five minutes unofficially...
Anyhoo, not a great deal in the trailer that wasn't in the previous one further below, but worth a watch.
