Star Wars, Battlefront III in Development at Spark Unlimited, Coming This Year?
Please, please, please, make it so! It's been six years and what could have been a very simple release turned in to an endless delay and bitter fued at past game studios.
A tease on a LinkedIn page has lead to this rumour...

If you haven't heard;
Lego Star Wars III - The Clone Wars comes with an all new graphics engine and enhanced animations never before seen in a LEGO game, players will explore a vast universe – including 16 different star systems, 32 story-based missions and 48 bonus levels making it the biggest LEGO Star Wars videogame to date. Players will take on Separatist forces on the massive battleship the Malevolence, destroy hundreds of Droids in epic ground battles and take off in their favourite ships in multi-layered space battles. Whether you’re a Padawan or Jedi Master from this galaxy or the next, players of all skill levels are bound to have a brick smashing good time in single player mode, or with their friends and family via jump in/jump out co-operative play.

An oldie (ish) figure that was geting cleared out and worth a review if only to point out how good, my favourite Star Wars figure line (The 30th Anniversary collection) really was. With super articulation all over, a lightsaber hilt with magical powers, armour plating and cape thingies, this dudes packing!

New Lego Star Wars III Clone Wars Trailer, and nearly every other one besides...
A new trailer hits the tubes for this game today but sadly only at (god knows why man) EW.com of all places. 'Cos thats where Star Wars and Lego fans y'know want to hang out all day? Wait and see it'll only get ripped and be on YouTube in five minutes unofficially...
Anyhoo, not a great deal in the trailer that wasn't in the previous one further below, but worth a watch.

Insanely addictive! Lego Star Wars III Clone Wars Site goes live...
The Star Wars lego site went live at the weekend and it's bloody impressive!
Effectively a game in it's own right, the design and experience is possibly the best I have ever seen on a gaming site. About an hour later, I was still on it, be warned it's highly addictive!
As a hint, remember to fuly utilise a certain astromech when playing... 8D

Singe Ewok Arse! Star Wars The Force Unleashed II DLC Endor Mission Trailer.
As expected and discussed on our podcast a while back (more coming soon-promise!) new downloadable content is out on the 14th Dec for the Force Unleashed 2.
Starkiller returns...just like we expected he would, and he is here to kick some serious Ewok arse. I think it's pent up 'can't have Juno' rage as he seriously singes the little guys fur here.

Endor Downloadable Content
Continue the adventures of Starkiller on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 as he heads to the forest moon Endor to strike a blow to the Rebellion. Only $1USD coming in December. Following the Dark Side ending of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller returns with his over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a mission ordered by Lord Vader. The Rebellion has arrived on Endor, and the Empire needs the remaining members eliminated. As the Evil Apprentice, players will make their way to the shield generator by taking on Rebels, Ewoks, and Stormtroopers who fight without knowing the powerful Force-wielder is coming to destroy the last remnants of the Empire's greatest enemy.

The long-time Star Wars gamer will not want to be without the historical and legendary characters included in the new Character Pack for The Force Unleashed II. You might recognise a few of our friends in the screenshots you see – but none are greater warriors than one of them. The very nice folks at Activision (thank you N!) contacted us with more details on the next slice of the LEGO® Star Wars™ franchise, the third sequel, LEGO Star Wars III:The Clone Wars. They tell us...It combines the epic stories and iconic characters from the Star Wars universe and hit animated TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars™ with all new gameplay features.
Players will enjoy brand new game mechanics allowing them to create, control and explore in a galaxy far, far away like never before. Promising breathtaking visuals as well as new characters and levels, the game also features the signature tongue-in-cheek humor from the LEGO universe.
With over 20 story-based missions and 40 bonus levels spanning the entire Clone Wars era, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will allow fans to explore endlessly and laugh their way through the Star Wars galaxy in the most humorous, accessible and action-packed LEGO game to date.
New Story – For the first time, players will experience their favorite stories from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, retold in the amazing LEGO world that fans know and love.
Massive Ground Battles – Brand new to the LEGO Star Wars experience, players will take control of battalions of clone troopers against the relentless droid army - building bases, deploying vehicles and calling in reinforcements to defeat opponents.

New Combat Abilities – Characters will have more dynamic moves allowing players greater freedom to battle their opponents. Characters will also have new lightsaber abilities including Lightsaber Cutting, Lightsaber Throwing, and Lightsaber Climbing. The game will also feature new grappling abilities allowing players to climb their way through puzzles and defeat enemies.
Explore the Galaxy – Players will be able to explore exotic locations in a variety of ships throughout 16 different star systems. Fans will play as villainous Separatists, the noble Republic heroes or even as bounty hunters, tracking down characters across the galaxy.
Expanded Force Abilities – Using the Force in all new ways to control LEGO objects, players will solve puzzles, access new areas, pick up and throw enemies - even turning them into weapons.
Brand New Clone Weapons, Vehicles and Characters – New clone weapons including rapid fire guns and rocket launchers, as well as all new massive capital ships to explore, such as Anakin Skywalker’s flagship the Resolute and Grievous’ devastating warship , the Malevolance. Players will also navigate through the galaxy in new vehicles such as the Republic gunship, Clone Turbo Tank and even Anakin’s Jedi Intercepter and the Twilight. Fans will also discover their favorite classic characters such as Darth Vader, Chewbacca and Luke Skywalker.
Puzzle Solving – The game will feature all new puzzles that reward creative thinking through the use of teamwork and unique building situations only possible in a LEGO galaxy far, far away. All new lighting and animations – A brand new engine brings characters to life, giving players a whole new level of control in a vibrant environment, unlike anything ever seen before in a LEGO game.
Split Screen – Improved dynamic split screen for multi-player co-op with jump in/jump out abilities for friends and families to play together.
